Fabric Care - information for washing instructions and care of fabric items purchased at The Gingham Grasshopper. Washing, Care and Content
GGs Couture and Heirloom Gowns are made from 100% cotton fabrics and are machine washable! Our fabrics are carefully chosen for their durability, softness on the skin, and good looks. 100% cotton has the best feel on the skin and is very comfortable to wear! For best results use cool or warm water and low drying temperatures.
Bags should be either spot cleaned or dry cleaned. Machine washing on "Gentle" in a front loading machine is also acceptable. We do not recommend washing in top loading machines with an agitator as this could damage the bag.
Beaded Socks we recommend hand washing and flat dry. You can also tie the socks in a pillowcase and wash on a gentle or hand wash cycle; flat dry.
Most of our items are 100% cotton. Minky items are 100% polyester.
